BYBA Spring Baseball
Welcome to the Spring 2026 season with BYBA. We look forward to a great season. BYBA will be participating in the Texas Teenage Baseball Association league again. The regular season will start in February and be done by the end of June 2026. BYBA is a competitive league and will send teams to playoffs around the state of Texas.
State tournaments begin the week of July 7.

Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Pre-T - 4 year olds as of August 31, 2026.
6U - 5 and 6 year olds as of August 31, 2026. T-ball division.
8U - 7 and 8 year olds as of August 31, 2026. Coach pitch division.
10U - 9 and 10 year olds as of August 31, 2026. Kid pitch division.
12U - 11 and 12 year olds as of August 31, 2026. Kid pitch division.
14U - 13 and 14 year olds as of August 31, 2026. Kid pitch division
When
What time of the year does this program run?
Registration opens December 1, 2025 - February 20, 2026.
Season dates will be released in January 2026.
Typical seasons run from February - July.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices are held at the location assigned by the teams head coach.
Pre-T thru 12U Games will be played at Jace Jefferson compex within Heritage park in Belton. 14U will play at Jaycee Fields in Belton.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Practices will be determined by your teams coach. Most teams will practice 1 -2 times a week.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Games will be played during the week. No weekends. Typically 1 - 2 games per week. 1 game on those nights. No double headers.
A typical season will consist of:
Preseason tournament
10 league games
City Championship Tournament
District and State for teams qualified for playoffs.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
1 team jersey and 1 team hat will be provided to each player by the league, as included with your registration cost. Any extra jerseys beyond the 1st one, will be the parent's responsibility.
Extra Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
The league will provide jersey and hats for each player. Each player will also need to have:
-Glove
-Helmet
-Pants (color assigned by coach)
-Belt (color assigned by coach)
-Socks (color assigned by coach)
